The Pastor

OUR PASTOR

Reginal T. Webb


Pastor Reginal T. Webb is a native and current resident of Lakeland, Florida. He is the fifth child and youngest son of the late Wilman and Dorette Webb. He is happily married to Deborah Ingram Webb and they have three handsome sons, Rashod, Trey and Deronte, and one beautiful daughter, Heavyn.

After graduating from Lakeland Senior High School, his studies continued at Bethune Cookman University where he received his Bachelor’s Degree. Continually driven to excellence, he attended Nova Southeastern University earning his M.B.A. and he also received Biblical training from Dallas Theological Seminary.

Pastor Webb’s employment began with Polk State College in 1990 and he has served in several capacities throughout the Student Services department. In January 2006, he continued to progress as a College Administrator and was named Dean of Student Services (Lakeland campus).

In January of 2014, he was promoted to the position of Vice President for Student Services. As vice president for student services, he oversees the numerous components of Student Services, from advising and admissions, to financial aid, athletics, counseling and student activities. He believes that a good education is one of the greatest equalizers in society. In September 2022, he was appointed as the Senior Vice President of Student Services and Campus Operations where he oversees Student Services and Facilities, Public Safety, and Security.

Pastor Webb is a member of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., graduate of the Leadership Lakeland and Polk Vision Leadership programs. He has always been very active in his community and is often sought to speak at various community and church events.

His Christian walk began at Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Lakeland, Florida. For a period of 28 years, he was under the spiritual leadership of Rev. J. J. McGriff, Pastor. In 1997, he accepted his calling into the ministry and was ordained in 1998. In 1999, the Lord led him to Harmony Missionary Baptist Church where he humbly served as an associate minister under the spiritual leadership of Rev. Steve Caudle, Pastor. On Tuesday, January 8, 2002, he was called to be the Pastor of New Bethel Progressive Missionary Baptist Church in Tampa, Florida. Under his leadership, New Bethel has grown physically and spiritually and the church continues to win souls for Christ one sinner at a time. Because of God’s grace and everyone’s commitment to Excellence in Christ, New Bethel has become the Church of Choice.

Deborah Ingram Webb


Sister Deborah Ingram Webb was born in Bartow, FL, was raised in Winter Haven, FL and currently resides in Lakeland, Florida. She is the daughter of Norris Ingram Jr. and Barbara White. She is happily married to Pastor Webb and they have three handsome sons, Rashod, Trey, and Deronte, one beautiful daughter, Heavyn, and four grandchildren.

 

She graduated from Winter Haven High School, earned an Associate of Arts degree from Polk State College, then earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from University of South Florida. She believes in lifelong learning. She is a faithful wife, mother, and poet.

She has been employed with State Farm Insurance for the past 33 years and currently serves as a Claim Specialist investigating insurance fraud.

Her Christian walk began at Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, Lakeland, Florida. At New Bethel, she serves alongside her husband, Pastor Webb, where she is very active in serving the Lord and ministering to the saints. She is the President of the Sisterhood ministry, oversees the New Membership Orientation and Education ministries, and serves on the Deaconess, Praise Team, and Inspirational Choir ministries, just to name a few. She embodies and exemplifies the virtuous woman described in Proverbs 31.
